

2026 Garden Club Native Plant Sale is now open!
Native Shrubs and Trees for spring planting
From now until May 9th the Carlisle Garden Club is pleased to offer a variety of native shrubs and trees. These cultivars were chosen for their beauty and vigor in Carlisle, and because they are native they will support birds, insects, and other wildlife in your yard. Availability is limited so don’t delay!
Plants can be picked up at the Town common Saturday May 16th from 9am to 12pm. All sales support the Garden Club’s civic beautification programs.

Latin Name: Rhododendron maximum `Independence`
Description: A hardy northerner, native up into Nova Scotia. Pink to white spring flowers on a classic evergreen rhododendron. Can grow very tall, best on shady edges.
