Native Shrubs and Trees for spring planting
From now until May 9th the Carlisle Garden Club is pleased to offer a variety of native shrubs and trees. These cultivars were chosen for their beauty and vigor in Carlisle, and because they are native they will support birds, insects, and other wildlife in your yard. Availability is limited so don’t delay!
Plants can be picked up at the Town common Saturday May 16th from 9am to 12pm. All sales support the Garden Club’s civic beautification programs.

Latin Name: Myrica pensylvanica
Description: Suckering shrub with nitrogen-fixing microorganisms in root nodules, so grows in poor soil. Leathery leaves are late to drop. Salt tolerant.
